HabiSync terms of use

  1. The service. HabiSync (habisync.app) is a free web app, developed and run in a personal capacity by Nicolae Guglea, that helps housemates organise their shared home (common expenses, chores, shopping list, guests, notes).
  2. Who can use it. The service is reserved for adults. You sign in with a Google account or with email and password; you are responsible for keeping your password safe. By using it you accept these terms and the Privacy policy.
  3. No payments through the app. HabiSync calculates and records who owes how much to whom, but does not transfer money. Links to PayPal, Satispay or bank details open third-party services, with their own conditions. The amounts shown are a reminder between housemates: check them before paying.
  4. Your content. You are responsible for what you enter (expenses, notes, payment details, information about guests). Enter other people's data only if necessary and with respect for their privacy. Using HabiSync for unlawful or offensive content, or for purposes other than running the home, is forbidden.
  5. Homes. Anyone who joins a home with a link or a code sees that home's content. Share the code only with your housemates. Home admins can remove members.
  6. Availability. The service is offered "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability or absence of errors. It may be changed, suspended or discontinued, with reasonable notice when possible, so that you can save what you need.
  7. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damage resulting from use of the service, from errors in the data entered by users or from agreements between housemates.
  8. Suspension. Accounts used in breach of these terms may be suspended.
  9. Changes. The terms may be updated: the date at the top shows the latest version and important changes are flagged in the app.
